Hear from passionate speakers as they share bold ideas, challenge perspectives, and spark change. Be inspired, be challenged, and most importantly, be a part of a movement that is redefining what's possible.

Aadrit Talukdar

High School Student
Aadrit Talukdar is a junior at BISV who is passionate about helping his community in any way that he can. Aadrit strongly believes in innovation and technology to make the world a better place. He is fascinated by the inventions and innovators around him and hopes to create change with his own inventions. Aadrit is deeply involved in science fairs and research competitions, winning awards for his projects for multiple years. He is actively involved in his school’s Science Olympiad team, earning medals for a myriad of events. A part of the National Junior Classical League, Aadrit has also won gold medals for the National Latin Exam four times.

Aanya Gupta

High School Student
Aanya Gupta is a junior at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley who has been fascinated with STEM since she was young. Her strong background in competitive math has helped her build critical thinking and problem solving skills. Aanya has published research on computational approaches to improving vaccine development and effectiveness, presented at national conferences, and won the CMI-PB Vaccine Challenge with this experience. Aanya intends to study computer science in college, continuing to work in the intersection of computer science and biology. In her free time, Aanya loves to dance, having learnt a variety of styles since she was three. She is dedicated towards sharing this passion with kids and seniors alike through her teaching and non-profit dedicated to spreading joy through movement. Aanya’s goal is to do her best in bringing about progress and innovation to uplift the community around her.

Aditya Bhagwat

High School Student
Aditya (Adi) Bhagwat is a sophomore at Stratford Preparatory Blackford with a passion for engineering and consumer technology. His goal is to innovate in mechanical engineering and product design, creating technology that enhances everyday life. As a member of his school’s robotics team, Adi contributes to hands-on building and manufacturing, gaining valuable experience in complex system development. Outside of engineering, Adi enjoys playing guitar, particularly classic rock, and collecting vinyl records for their nostalgic sound. As an avid cricket fan, Adi enjoys following the sport in his free time, balancing his academic pursuits with a variety of personal interests.

Anna Deng

High School Student
Anna Deng is currently a junior at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. A thinker, learner, and leader, Anna is interested in mathematics, computer science, and anything to make the world a better place. She enjoys problem-solving and dealing with structures, yet she also enjoys searching for ways to break these patterns. Besides being a math enthusiast excited by numbers (in all bases, especially binary since then she can take over the world wide web), Anna is a figure skater and constantly finds ways to give back to her community through volunteering, organizing events, and acting for change. Whether she’s on the ice, on stage, writing code, reading an article, or proving a theorem, she is committed to being and finding counterexamples—breaking the mold, challenging norms, and inspiring others to do the same.

Ansh Sinha

Middle School Student
Ansh Sinha is an 8th-grade student at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley with a strong passion for math and physics. He enjoys exploring problem-solving and analytical thinking in school and enjoys learning almost anything. In the future, he aspires to become a lawyer, engineer, or software developer. Beyond academics, Ansh loves helping others in any way he can. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and spending quality time with his family.

Charan Sridhar

High School Student
Charan Sridhar is a BISV student who is passionate about computer science. His life goal is to use computer science to improve the quality of life and push for equity, especially marginalized communities. He is a research intern at AImpower, where he is working on equity in technology, with a current focus on fair speech-to-text systems. His entrepreneurial spirit has driven him to found a Data Science & Machine Learning Club and start the BISV Hacks Hackathon. He also works on AI research projects that focus on increasing healthcare accessibility, improving medical condition diagnosis accuracy, and evaluating the cybersecurity vulnerabilities of machine learning models. In his free time, Charan enjoys playing classical guitar and working on model kits.

Jaya Sriram

High School Student
Jaya Sriram is a freshman at BISV. She has a passion for music and loves singing, performing in musical theatre, and watching movies. She enjoys learning about business and hopes to pursue a career in law. In her spare time, Jaya is a softball player in the position of pitcher. She hopes to make a difference in the world by eventually starting a nonprofit that helps support the unhoused by selling self-made products from local rising artists.

Jocelyn Gou

Middle School Student
Jocelyn Gou is an 8th grader at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley who finds joy in running, reading short stories and novels, writing fiction prose and free-verse poetry, and traveling the world with her family. Still uncertain about her future, Jocelyn is currently on a journey of self-exploration as she strives to learn more about herself and the world around her through both her hobbies and academics. Jocelyn hopes that what she discovers will help humanity universally value Earth’s natural environment and overcome our ecological crises. As her time in middle school draws to an end and high school approaches, she looks forward to further developing her personality, perspective, and passions through new knowledge and experiences.

Krishna Bhatt

High School Student
Krishna Bhatt is a nationally awarded high school researcher and writer who spends his time developing projects in the intersection of neuroscience and technology. Currently a sophomore at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley, he spent the last five years competing in research symposiums and business challenges–dedicating months to a project before presenting it in a few critical minutes. Krishna is highly engaged in the science fair community, co-founding the BISV Science Fair Club to guide middle schoolers, and is on a mission to ensure that his research will leave a positive and tangible impact for patients around the world. Outside of these activities, Krishna's free time is spent on track, karting, or with his family.

Rithvik Burki

Middle School Student
Rithvik Burki is currently in 8th grade at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. Rithvik enjoys developing ideas and bringing them to life, both in the physical and virtual worlds. His interests in mathematics, robotics, computer science, and history have helped him explore complex concepts and develop his unique worldview. He is fascinated by the engaging nature of video games and how he can leverage these concepts in real life to build and maintain good habits. He loves hiking, biking, playing tennis, watching football, and spending time with his family.

Tommy Du

High School Student
Tommy Du is currently a junior at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. Tommy has strong interests in entrepreneurship and economics and he is a member of the school’s DECA team. Tommy enjoys racket sports as he is both a member of the school’s competitive badminton team and the tennis club. Taking full advantage of the Bay Area’s diverse geographics, climates, and cultures, Tommy loves going to various places in the Bay Area and experiencing the unique atmosphere, food, and scenery each city and town has to offer. Believing in the power of ideas and innovations, Tommy aspires to make an impact in the world with people who have shared passions.
