TEDxJIMS Rohini 2025 is an independently organized TED event that aims to create a platform for sharing powerful ideas and inspiring conversations within our academic community and beyond. Under the theme “Seeds of Transformation: Cultivating Minds, Connecting Worlds,” the event will showcase thought-provoking talks from diverse speakers who will explore how small ideas can spark meaningful change, foster personal and societal growth, and bridge connections across cultures, disciplines, and experiences.

With a curated lineup of speakers, interactive sessions, and opportunities for networking, TEDxJIMS Rohini is designed to ignite curiosity, challenge perspectives, and inspire action among attendees, creating a ripple effect of transformation both locally and globally.

Ananya Khera

Pastry Chef & Founder of DITYA

"Ditya was a vision of two sisters, Anandita & Ananya. While one succumbed to cancer, the other made their shared dream a reality. As a pastry chef, my greatest joy is seeing people light up when they experience my creations. My journey began in my grandmother’s kitchen and led me to Le Cordon Bleu, London, where I specialized in Patisserie et Boulangerie. In 2024, I launched Ditya, expanding to two outlets in under a year. At Ditya, quality is key—from ingredients to presentation. Beyond desserts, we aim to build a community of comfort and care, supporting mental health, grief meetings, and anxiety groups. We’ve collaborated with Stories of Hope, Kotak Mahindra Bank, 32nd Avenue, Looks Salon, and We The Chefs, enriching our expertise. We also focus on experiential retail, hosting workshops and food stalls. Currently, we operate in Sector 63 & 50, Gurgaon, with two more stores coming soon. This journey has just begun, and I hope to inspire others to chase their dreams."

Dr. Vineet Govinda Gupta is a renowned medical oncologist with over 12 years at AIIMS New Delhi, where he earned the AIIMS Gold Medal and numerous national and international accolades. A dedicated clinician and researcher, he has published extensively in top medical journals, including pioneering India's first retrospective immunotherapy study. He prioritizes patient-centered care, treating each case with the same commitment as he would a family member. A member of ASCO, ESMO, and other esteemed oncology societies, his expertise spans immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and precision oncology, striving to make world-class cancer treatment accessible and compassionate.

Dr. Yukti Ahuja

Academician, Researcher, and Consultant

Dr. Yukti Ahuja is an accomplished academician, researcher, and consultant with over 17 years of experience in academia, corporate training, and industry research. As a Professor & Former Dean at JIMS Rohini, she has led academic programs, faculty development, and industry collaborations for 15+ years. A Ph.D. holder from I. K. Gujral University, she has presented her work at IIMs and IIT, internationally at AMA, University of Dubai and has chaired conference sessions. Recognized with the Best Research Paper (Bronze) at XLRI Jamshedpur (2024) and awarded for her case studies, she excels in marketing, leadership, and stakeholder management. Her journey reflects a passion for education, innovation, and shaping future leaders.

Jigyasa Tandon

Founder and Lead Counseling Psychologist, PSY- FI: For A Healthy Mind | Trained Mental Health Educationist, NIMHANS, Bangalore

Jigyasa Tandon began her career as a Counseling Psychologist at 23, working with sensitive groups like children in conflict with law, undertrials, and victims of rape and domestic violence. Through her organization and collaborations with Delhi High Court, Patiala House, schools, and colleges, she led community mental health programs focused on awareness and wellness application. She pursued a fellowship in Mental Health Education from NIMHANS, Bangalore, deepening her expertise. An acclaimed writer, poet, and researcher, she authored Echoes of a Rebellious Mind and has been recognized for her contributions to mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and counseling. Her expertise spans suicidal prevention, media & mental health integration, mental health education, organizational behaviour, and fashion consultancy. She has been a keynote and panel speaker at various platforms, advocating for mental health as a tool for self-improvement and stronger relationships.

Labhya Gupta

Strategic Adviser & Member of the Founder's Office, JIMS Group of Institutions

Labhya Gupta is a strategic growth and digital marketing expert and is currently a key member of the Founder’s Office. With over six years of experience in business strategy, digital initiatives, and operations optimization, he specializes in scaling businesses through innovation and data-driven marketing strategies. A Computer Science graduate from Delhi University with a management degree from IE Business School, Madrid, he brings a unique blend of technical and business acumen. Passionate about transformation and efficiency, Labhya is dedicated to driving impactful solutions that foster business growth and operational excellence.

Rahul Unnithan

Artist /Musician /Actor | Student Speaker, JIMS Rohini

Rahul Unnithan is a multifaceted creative force, seamlessly blending the worlds of theatre, classical music, and marketing. He is an actively practising Carnatic classical vocalist, and as a spirited theatre artist, Rahul has collaborated with multiple troupes and directors in Delhi as an actor and sound designer. His noteworthy stints include acting at a theatre festival organised by Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academi and as a guest artist at LTG actors’ repertory. Beyond the stage and studio, Rahul is a strategic marketer with a flair for crafting compelling campaigns that resonate deeply with audiences. At TEDxJIMS, Rahul will dive into his journey from a child with severe confidence issues and insecurities, who constantly dreads social interaction to becoming an artist to whom stage has become his second home.

Smt. Shobha Lal, founder of 26-year-old ASMII, has dedicated over 50 years to empowering rural women through education, vocational training, and financial literacy. She has impacted over 1 lakh women across 400+ villages, fostering self-reliance through skill-building and sustainable livelihood programs. A strong advocate for women’s rights, she has tackled issues like domestic violence, financial independence, and girl child education, training thousands in entrepreneurship. Her work has earned multiple awards, including the Jijabai Award and Dr. Sushila Nayar Award, and was featured in The Outlook. Invited to the UN Headquarters for CSW60, she continues to drive change. At TEDxJIMS Rohini, she will explore how small acts of empowerment spark movements that transform communities for generations.
