In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Marek Porzeżyński

Legal Advisor & Expert in New Technologies and Intellectual Property Law | Vice Dean at WUT

Dr. Marek Porzeżyński is a legal advisor and Vice Dean at the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences at the Warsaw University of Technology. With nearly 15 years of experience in leading international and Polish law firms, as well as in the tech-media sector, he specializes in new technologies law, intellectual property, privacy, cybersecurity, and media & gaming law. He has authored over 40 scientific publications, including the monograph The Patentability of Computer Programs. A recipient of the Rising Stars Lawyers- Leaders of Tomorrow 2023 award, he co-created and supported numerous startups and participated in the largest new tech transactions in Poland. He currently leads the Google Cybersecurity Seminars project at WUT. With a unique blend of legal and technical education, he actively shapes the future of law in the digital age.

She graduated from Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Mechatronics, and completed a postgraduate course in Project Management at Warsaw School of Economics. Marta began her career as a reliability engineer and later joined the Edison Engineering Development Program. She quickly advanced into leadership roles of increasing responsibility. Outside of work, she explores servant leadership and ways to foster innovation in daily tasks. She loves competition, which drives her to grow continuously. Mateusz Modrzejewski

PhD- Assistant Professor at Warsaw University of Technology | Music AI Researcher | Experienced Touring Musician

Mateusz Modrzejewski, PhD - Software engineer, researcher, conference speaker, author and co-author of papers on music information retrieval and audio AI. Assistant Professor at the Institute of Computer Science of Warsaw University of Technology. Previously at Apple (Music Machine Learning team, Apple Music). Has also worked with research and engineering teams of other Fortune 500 companies, providing AI solutions and analytics. Apart from his scientific and engineering work, he is also an experienced touring musician, having performed for audiences of up to 150,000 people and having toured in Poland, China, Vietnam, the UK, Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania and Estonia, among others. Some of the artists he has played with include The Dumplings, Grubson, Marek Dyjak, Chłopcy Kontra Basia, Maria Sadowska, Pablopavo i Ludziki, Majka Jeżowska, Michał Milczarek Trio.

Yelyzaveta Leshchenko is an engineering student and space technologies researcher passionate about solving real-world and off-world challenges. She led the award-winning LASPA project on laser stimulation and plant growth- crucial for sustainability and future space missions. As a two-time president of the Photonics Engineering Club and leader of SPIE and Optica chapters, she connects young engineers globally. She received the “New Technologies for Women Ukraine” scholarship and the “Stypendium pod choinkę” for promoting STEM. As an ambassador of the Faculty of Mechatronics and participant in the LeaderSHEp in Tech Academy, she’s shaping a more inclusive, visionary future in engineering.
