Former Director of the Research Institute of Aquaculture No.1 Vietnam

Professor Phan Thi, Van is the former Director of the Research Institute of Aquaculture No.1 (RIA1) in Vietnam. She has led numerous research projects and published extensively in international scientific journals. Her work focuses on promoting environmentally friendly aquaculture practices and improving food security. She is the first woman to receive the Danida Alumni Prize, presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and the Danida Fellowship Centre.
