In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Adhya Duggal is a William Mason High School junior and is beyond grateful for the opportunity to speak at a TEDxMaumeeValleyCountryDaySchool. She dedicates her time to volunteering with nonprofits that strive to help underserved communities in healthcare and is a passionate advocate for amplifying women's voices in STEM. Inspired by her family’s support and sacrifices, she hopes to continue growing and dreams of one day watching the sunrise from every corner of the world.

Baraah Mansour is a Senior at Maumee High School, and is a part of many programs such as Student Council and Youth Leadership Toledo. Baraah enjoys spending time with her family and friends and gets involved in her area as much as possible such as joining youth groups and community service opportunities. Baraah will be attending the University of Toledo to continue her degree legal and paralegal studies and hopes to one day see a Free Palestine.

Mallory Rettig is a senior at Anthony Wayne High School who shows leadership in her school by being NHS president and uplifts her community by tutoring young kids through Evolving Minds. She plans to further her education at a university majoring in literature on a pre-law track. Mallory values her job at Jonathon Khoi Nail Spa where she spends her time interacting with customers and forming meaningful connections with co-workers.

Marah Ariss, a junior at Perrysburg Highschool, and has been an aspiring lawyer since the time she was a little girl. She also has two years of experience through speech and debate, winning first place at some tournaments here and there as well. Whatsmore, she is also very passionate about music, through her playing of the harp for seven years thus far.
