Daniele Dondi

Chemistry Professor at UniPV
Daniele Dondi is Associate Professor of Chemistry at the University of Pavia. He obtained a PhD in photochemistry by developing a new photocatalyst that is still used internationally. His research interests range from sustainable chemistry for materials development to studies on the origin of life. He is working on many international interdisciplinary research projects involving physicists, biologists and engineers. Recently, he has been developing a fully open-source robot system to automate dangerous manipulations in the laboratory. He is a co-author of more than 140 international papers, has a patent for the production of plastics from frying oils and dabbles in 3D printing

Francesco Misceo

Visual Performer
Francesco Misceo is an experimental contemporary dancer and new media artist born in Modena, Italy, in 1997. He acts in the field of digital arts and performing arts by creating many forms of art, from stage performances to exhibitions combining real and virtual worlds. He places the human body at the heart of technological and artistic challenges and adapts today’s technological tools to create a timeless poetry through a visual language based on playing and enjoyment, which breeds imagination. His work is acknowledged for the highly holistic artistic methodology with a strong digital background, which considers not only physical elements as dance, but also optical, sonal, sensorial and, above all, spatiotemporal components as part of the choreography. Based on his profound interest in choreographing time and space, he wants to spread his talent not only as a choreographer and dancer but also as a composer, light designer, scenographer and visual artist.

Linda Serra

CEO + Diversity & Inclusion Activist
CEO of Work Wide Women, is a leading figure in the field of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and inclusive leadership. Since 2014, her company provides innovative solutions to promote equitable and inclusive work environments. Recognized as a TOP Voice LGBTQIA+ on LinkedIn, Serra is also a regional referent for the AIDP Inclusion group and co-leader of the National Pillar LGBTQIA+. She represented Italy in the USA as part of the IVLP, a program dedicated to emerging leaders in 2013. Between 2015 and 2019, she received numerous awards, including recognition from CNA as a young entrepreneur, the UNHCR award for the Foreign Sisters project, the Enel Open Innovation award for the Diversity@Work videogame, and the BNL BNP Paribas Miss In Action award for the best innovative female company. For over a decade, Serra has been dedicated to female empowerment and emancipation. In academia, since 2023, she teaches DEI Strategy at 24 Ore Business School, in the DEI Strategy Design master's degree.

Maria Ines Palleiro

CONICET Researcher
senior researcher in oral narrative at the National Council for Scientific Research (CONICET) in Argentina and Vice President for Latin America of the International Society for Folk Narrative Research. She teaches the postgraduate seminar “Textual Genetics and Genetic Criticism” at the University of Buenos Aires and has been a professor of Folklore Research Methodology at the National University of Art. She has conducted research and teaching at several international institutions, including the Universities of Salerno, Ljubljana and Tartu. Author of over 200 articles book chapters and 20 monographs, her studies focus on folk narrative, social beliefs and discourse analysis.

Mauro Borsarini

ANED activist + School Principal
Mauro Borsarini, PE teacher (1983-2007), then headmaster to 2023, lived for education. Fostered youth via experiential trips and street art. Councilor (1995-2006), honed public management: AlmaDiploma President (2015-2021), guided academic/career paths. ANED member (2003-), organizes Mauthausen/Auschwitz memory trips, bridging generations. In 2024, he founded EduCare: cultural, educational, language activities, inclusive, for all ages, building community networks. He’s always prioritized collaboration, public-private partnerships, and youth engagement, leaving a lasting impact on education and civic life.

Travel Bloggers
Professional travel bloggers and content creators since 2011 and digital entrepreneurs. Thanks to their passion for travel and their profession, they have visited more than 70 countries around the world. Lonely Planet included them in the top 10 of its favourite blogs in its guidebook ‘How to become a travel writer’. Republic, Corriere della Sera, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, and Grazia just to name a few have spoken about them. In 2018, they were travel tutors for the entire TV season of ‘Detto Fatto’ aired on RAI2. They have collaborated with international brands such as Barilla, Sky, Yves Saint Laurent, Columbia, Huawei, Ray-Ban and many others. In 2020 they created the first training course in Italy to become professional travel bloggers and to date their digital schools are attended by more than 3000 students from all over Italy. In 2023, Mondadori published their first book ‘Mi prendo e mi porto via - Diario emozionale di due viaggiatori’.

Riccardo Parenti

Born in the early 1970s, he is from Bologna. After graduating in mechanical engineering, he entered the world of motors, first in Rimini and then in Turin. Back in the heart of Motor Valley, at Lamborghini, he had the opportunity to try different roles. Different companies, different cultures. Along his path he has received many blessings, the most important of which have supported me for many years: his wife and his three girls, his real strength. He has always brought with me curiosity and a desire to engage with others: other people, other cultures, other ideas... and I have gathered so much, from the most diverse people.

Roberta Calegari

AI Researcher @ UniBO
Roberta Calegari is an assistant professor at the University of Bologna, affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Alma Mater Research Institute for Human-Centered AI. Her research focuses on trustworthy and explainable AI, distributed intelligent systems, software engineering, and AI & law. She coordinates the Horizon Europe project (G.A. 101070363) on assessing and mitigating AI bias and contributes to the EU Horizon 2020 project “PrePAI” (G.A. 101083674) on AI trustworthiness. Her expertise includes symbolic AI, computational logic, argumentation, and multi-agent systems. She is on the Editorial Board of ACM Computing Surveys and has authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications. She leads multiple European and national projects and collaborates with industries

Sara Borgomaneri

Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience and Brain Plasticity, Neuroscience of Aging and Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation
Sara Borgomaneri is an Associate Professor at UniBO’s Psychology Department, teaching Cognitive Neuroscience, Brain Plasticity, Neuroscience of Ageing, and Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation. She conducts research in the NIBS group at the Centre for Studies and Research in Cognitive Neuroscience in Cesena and leads two UniBO projects funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research. Her work is also supported by the BIAL Foundation (Portugal). After earning a degree in Neuropsychology at UniBO, she obtained a PhD at the University of Amsterdam. Her research explores the neural basis of cognitive and affective processes, focusing on emotions, memory, perception, empathy, and brain plasticity. She uses behavioral and neurophysiological methods, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Electroencephalography (EEG), mainly on healthy subjects.

Valentina Petrillo

Paralympic Athlete
Valentina Petrillo is a Paralympic athlete specialized in speed races. Affected by Stargardt disease, a degenerative pathology that compromises vision, she began her sporting journey since childhood, inspired by the figure of Pietro Mennea. Throughout her career, she has faced important challenges both from a competitive and personal point of view, carrying forward her commitment to sport with determination and dedication. In the summer of 2024, she took part in the Paralympic Games in Paris, becoming the first transgender athlete to represent Italy in this competition.
