Theme: "PANGEA'S PARADOX"

TEDx Vivekananda College is an independently organized TEDx event committed to TED’s mission of sharing “Ideas Worth Spreading.” Bringing together speakers from diverse backgrounds, the event fosters thought-provoking discussions and inspires meaningful change.

This year, TEDx Vivekananda College is set to take place on March 7, 2025, with the compelling theme “Pangea’s Paradox.” The theme challenges us to rethink boundaries, rediscover lost connections, and envision a world without divisions. Pangea, the prehistoric supercontinent, symbolizes unity, an Earth without borders, divisions, or hierarchies. The paradox lies in the contradiction: while we live in an era of global connectivity, we still face deep divisions in race, wealth, power, and ideology.

Through this theme, TEDx Vivekananda College encourages speakers and attendees to question established beliefs, unearth forgotten histories, and explore new perspectives that push the limits of innovation. Pangea’s Paradox is an invitation to reimagine the world, not as it is, but as it could be.
