Theme: Boon or Bane - You Decide

This event occurred on
March 8, 2025
Hanoi, Ha Noi
Vietnam

With the theme “Boon or Bane: You Decide,” TEDx Greenwich University Hanoi encourages participants to reflect on the dual nature of modern trends and inventions in contemporary life. "Boon" represents positive impacts—benefits that drive progress, improve quality of life, and provide sustainable value to communities. On the other hand, "Bane" refers to negative influences or potential risks from these advancements, which may threaten social balance, undermine mental health, and create divides within communities. This event opens a space for multi-faceted discussions on how we shape and adapt to these emerging factors across three key areas: technology (Co-intelligence: Living with AI), mental health (Thriving Minds), and entertainment (Key Opinion Leader). The power lies with us—to recognize, harness, or be wary of these changes as we forge a safer, more meaningful future.
