Bjorn Ordoubadian

Co-Founder/CTO of Intrsect Davidson
A senior Physics major from Umeå, Sweden, Bjorn first conceptualized what would later become the Intrsect framework during the 3 Day Startup event that took place at Davidson this past Fall. In addition to five years of iOS development experience, Bjorn has served as the lead student tech consultant for Davidson College and has worked on an open source localizer project for Mozilla. His dream is to either go to space or build robots. Preferably both. At the same time.

Jim Fuller

Attorney of Law
Jim Fuller ’64 is an attorney specializing in civil rights. He has worked on precedent setting cases supporting women and racial minorities across the South. This work earned him the title of Lawyer of the Year in 1998 from the Association of Black Lawyers, an award only once presented to a white attorney. Fuller is also a former NC Court of Appeals Judge and currently leads the personal injury legal team at The Macintosh Law Firm in Davidson. He has taught courses at UNC, Duke, and Wake Forest law schools and at Davidson College.

Kaela Frank

Study Abroad Counselor
Kaela Frank is a peace educator, group facilitator, yoga teacher, and outdoor adventurer. She works as a Study Abroad Counselor at Davidson College and has previously been involved with Seeds of Peace, Interfaith Youth Core, and the North Carolina Outward Bound School. Kaela graduated from Davidson College in 2011 with an interdisciplinary major in Peace and Conflict Studies and she received a Master of Arts in Peace Education from the United Nations mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica while serving as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar.

Shea Parikh

Co-Founder/UX/UI Designer of Intrsect Davidson
A senior Political Science major from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Shea has spent the past two summers working at a higher-ed startup in Nairobi, Kenya and an early-stage incubator in Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition to two years of experience running a profitable social enterprise, Shea has led efforts on campus centered around photography and graphic design. His dream is to one day run a social enterprise that systematically changes the way the world responds to child trafficking.

Suzanne Churchill

Professor of English
Suzanne W. Churchill is a Professor of English at Davidson College. She is the author of The Little Magazine Others & the Renovation of Modern American Poetry and co-editor, with Adam McKible, of Little Magazines & Modernism: New Approaches. She has published on modernism and the Harlem Renaissance, and on periodicals, poetry, and pedagogy in various journals and collections. Founder and editor of the website, Index of Modernist Magazines, she is currently working on a collaborative scholarly website, Mina Loy: Navigating the Avant-Garde. She teaches courses in modern poetry, modernism and the Harlem Renaissance, word-art, and digital writing. Her pedagogy is interdisciplinary and collaborative, as reflected in her affiliations with Africana Studies, Digital Studies, Gender & Sexuality Studies, Global Literary Theory, the Humanities Program, and the Writing Program.
